Prairie View Golf Links is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Worthington, Minnesota.
Prairie View first opened for play in 1983. The course was designed by Joel Goldstrand.
This is a Scottish links-style design with all of the signature features. There are only a few trees. The long grass areas are well placed. There are several pot bunkers that have three foot high collars. And as with most true links courses, Praire View is visited by wind and without trees to act as buffers, golfers are often challenged with windy conditions.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,368 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,105 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-5 that plays to 530 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 156 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 18, a 420-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Prairie View is # 5, the 156 yard par-3.
The course was defunded by the city after the 2015 season and never reopened.
The course closed in 2015.

There are no trees, but lots of hills, a large creek, and a couple of ponds that require thought on your part on how to play that hole for your skill level. It's really a fun course for anyone to play. It's about a mile out of town next to nice road and farm fields on two sides. There's no place to hide from poor play. It's just very entertaining. I wished that I lived closer so I could play more often.
